Blenheim Lodge

Blenheim Lodge is a purpose built unit catering for Stage One of the Managed Pathway Programme. The facilities meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of ten adults with a variety of acquired brain injuries and physical / learning disabilities, and are designed to be a home from home, offering all the comforts and conveniences necessary to make life as easy and fulfilling as possible.
In order to encourage autonomy, residents of Blenheim Lodge are in full control of their own daily living, with highly trained Support Workers on hand throughout the day to help out with personal activities.
Every resident has their own large bed-sitting room – each a minimum of 12m2 with the option of bath or shower – and the five ground floor rooms all have en-suite bathrooms carefully designed for wheelchair users. 150Kg ceiling tracked hoists are installed in every bedroom to assist in transferring residents from their beds when necessary, and the first floor is arranged with a shower trolley and appropriate shower room plus WC for immobile residents unable to use wheelchairs. Further facilities include exercise equipment and beauty treatments; we also encourage trips to the theatre, shopping areas and coastline, as well as indoor activities such as quizzes and board games.
